Advancing Neutral Atoms for Scalable Quantum Computing
Empowering Tomorrow’s Quantum Scientists and Engineers
Translating Research into Real-World Impact
About
I am an experimental atomic physicist, motivated by translating fundamental science into transformative technology. With over 20 years of experience developing techniques for manipulating individual atoms using laser light, I apply these systems to realize new technologies enabled by quantum principles. I am a Professor at the University of Strasbourg, researcher at the European Center for Quantum Sciences (CESQ) and Director of the Exotic Quantum Matter (EQM) Lab. I coordinate France’s first public neutral-atom quantum computing platform — Atomic Quantum Computing as a Service (aQCess).
